New art classes begin A new series of art classes are starting in galleries and studios around the valley. Some of them are: Clista Prelle-Tworek offers a beginning pastel class at the Rogue Gallery and Art Center on Thursdays from 2 to 4 p.m. beginning February 6. Call 772-8118 for more information. Charu Colorado has two visual art classes beginning: Right Brain Drawing , through SOU Extended Campus Programs, will be held on Thursdays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., beginning January 30 and running through March 6. Colorado is also teaching a life drawing class from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturdays. The class began last week and seven sessions remain. In Jacksonville , The Scarlet Palette Gallery is offering a collage class with Dianne Erickson. All levels welcome. Monday, February 17, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost is $45.
