Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism: Sgi-Usa The SGI-USA (Soka Gakkai International) is the lay organization of Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism. Members chant: "Nam-myoho-renge-kyo." The primary focus of SGI is world peace and happiness for all human beings through personal growth and action. The Ashland group meets for chanting and discussion at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays.
