--> Afro-Caribbean Jazz and Samba classes The DanceSpace will host two master-classes in Afro-Caribbean Jazz and Samba taught by Adela Chu, visiting teacher from Honolulu, HI, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2 and from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4. All levels are welcome. Classes are $15 per day, or $25 for both. Born in Panama, choreographer and musician Adela Chu is an internationally known dancer who has traveled and performed in Holland, Brazil, Mexico and Jamaica. Her field is World Dance, having studied modern, ballet, flamenco, samba, Caribbean, jazz, Balinese, hula, as well as yoga, tai chi and capoeira. The DanceSpace is located at 280 E. Hersey #10.
