Lizabeth “Liz” Stevens was last seen Tuesday night at about 10 p.m. at Brookdale, a senior living community at 548 North Main St., near Maple Street. It was discovered she was gone at 7 a.m. Stevens, who has dementia and Alzheimer’s, authorities say, had lived at the facility for only one day. She'd moved here from out of the area, so is not familiar with Ashland. Stevens is described as 5-foot, 3-inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with grey hair and hazel eyes. She may refer to males she encounters as “Mickey.” She was last seen wearing a blue striped top, visor cap with elephant illustrations and a necklace with a long chain. As of Wednesday evening, police had received a few tips reporting possible sighting of Stevens on North Main on Tuesday night, but those leads and efforts of search and rescue teams during the day Wednesday had not turned up any sign of Stevens. Anyone who has any information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Ashland Police Department at 541-482-5211.
