--> --> Mother of 2-year-old found PORTLAND (AP) - Police have found the mother of a 2-year-old girl who was abandoned and passed among caregivers, but would not say where she was found or why she abandoned her daughter. Lisa Marie Kinsey, 21, of Las Vegas apparently is "trying to get away from a person she doesn't want anything to do with" and is choosing not to have contact with her family, said Sgt. Brian Schmautz, a Portland police spokesman. Kinsey apparently left the girl, Dina Jade Roy, with someone she barely knew in Portland early last month. Dina was initially handed from caregiver to caregiver before somebody called the state Department of Human Services on Oct. 17. DHS obtained temporary custody of the child the next day, and police began looking for her parents. Caregivers provided little information to police. No one had reported a missing child that matched Dina's description. The Multnomah County district attorney's office will determine whether to pursue criminal charges against the mother.
