S. Cellular Field in Medford on Saturday, June 18. The Jackson County program was represented by 10 doubles teams, with other counties participating (Klamath Falls, Josephine, and Douglas). Ashland Kiwanis was represented by Lola Egan, Abby Kollar, Sandy Kuykendall, and Ron Parker, all who volunteered to support the program, to help with events, and to serve as a cheerleaders. There is no cost to athletes for participation in Special Olympics. All funding for equipment, uniforms, practice facilities and travel costs to competitions is raised by volunteers and through donations.
