The event is free. Self-guided tours will be offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. OSF staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions. There will be a stairless tour option in addition to the three-floor “with stairs” tour. The address of the Hay-Patton Rehearsal Center is 30 S. First Street in Ashland. Tour takers will enter via Enders Alley off of First Street. OSF volunteers will be on hand at the entrance doors. The building was originally constructed in 1925 as one of Ashland’s earliest and largest indoor parking garages, at a cost of $36,000. Ninety years and a number of incarnations later, the Hay-Patton Rehearsal Center was christened. The renovation was designed by ORW Architecture of Medford, and the general contractor was Adroit Construction of Ashland. The total cost of the project was $4.4 million.
