Talk focuses on indicators, types of memory loss Comment By Local report DailyTidings.com By Local report Posted Aug. 15, 2015 at 2:58 PM By Local report Posted Aug. 15, 2015 at 2:58 PM » Social News A free presentation on "Understanding Memory Loss" will begin at 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, in the Mount Ashland Room at 855 Mountain Meadows Drive, Ashland.  The talk will be given by Memory Works Project director Elizabeth V. Hallett. She will explain indicators of memory loss, how the brain is affected and types of memory loss, including Alzheimer's and stroke-related dementia.  Care Partnering Support Groups for families living with dementia will begin Aug. 24. These are jointly sponsored with the Alzheimer's Association.
