In the last six months, I've often been asked, "Who's that?" Sometimes folks say, "He doesn't have a chance." Maybe so, maybe not, I say, but I know this. The man speaks with authority and compassion and he has integrity. I think his very presence in this campaign calls all the other candidates to greater integrity and thats a good thing for the life of our democracy. Congressman Kucinich was asked once what he thought Americans needed most after 9-11. His answer was that we needed a real opportunity to talk about what happened and begin to heal the wounds and then use our collective wisdom to figure out the appropriate responses to take from here. This is a man who is courageous enough to state the obvious but politically inexpedient point that waging war on terrorists only creates more terror. Kucinich is in this race for the long haul, and personally, I'm grateful that he is. If you haven't heard him, visit his website at www.kucinich.us or phone 1-866-413-3664 and ask for a tape. You may end up wanting to order a button too. Lorraine R.
