Wednesday, 7:48 a.m. — Lost property was reported found at the corner of Maple and Rock streets. Wednesday, 12:38 p.m. — Police investigated a shoplifting report in the 200 block of North First Street. Wednesday, 1:29 p.m. — A 54-year-old man was arrested in the 200 block of East Main Street on a disorderly conduct charge and transported to the Jackson County Jail. Wednesday, 4:53 p.m. — A 15-year-old juvenile was taken into protective custody in Ashland and transported to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center for a mental health evaluation. Wednesday, 7:22 p.m. — A female was taken into protective custody on a mental health hold in the 1300 block of Quincy Street. Wednesday, 7:29 p.m. — A 33-year-old man was arrested in the first block of South First Street for possession of methamphetamine and providing false information to a police officer. Thursday, 5:19 a.m. — A 30-year-old man was arrested in the 1200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard on a trespass charge and lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
