After further investigation, the driver, an Ashland man, was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance. 11:05 p.m. Thursday - Male transient, 48, arrested for an outstanding warrant on the 300 block of East Main Street. 2:14 p.m. Thursday - Ashland man, 18, cited for skating at the skatepark on Water Street without a helmet. 9:35 a.m. Thursday - A car stopped for a yellow light on Siskiyou Boulevard at Mountain Avenue was rear-ended by another vehicle. Both vehicles received more than $1,000 damage. 8:15 a.m. Thursday - Ashland man, 29, arrested for third-degree assault and harassment on North Main Street at Nursery Street. He was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
