Ashland Police and Fire 4:04 a.m. Wednesday - Several small grass fires discovered along bike path between Walker Avenue and Tolman Creek Road. Ashland Fire and Rescue extinguished five to 10 fires total. Reckless burning or arson suspected, under investigation. 10:17 a.m. Tuesday - Graffiti on concrete wall of Ashland Fire Station No. 1 reported. Estimated clean-up cost: $25. 9:04 a.m. Tuesday - Graffiti on concrete wall of Ashland Fire Station No. 1 reported. Estimated clean-up cost: $25. 3:15 a.m. Tuesday - Resident of 700 block Glenwood Drive heard an explosion and saw a vehicle parked outside her home. An unknown person was seen picking something up off the ground. Later, the complainant found her mailbox missing and remnants of a plastic water bottle which was possibly used as an explosive device. Incident under investigation. Between 9 p.m. Monday and 7:45 a.m. Tuesday - Unknown person or persons put realty signs, traffic cones, and a traffic barricade in yard of resident, 300 block Terrace Street.
