Thursday, 8:10 a.m. — A 26-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the first block of Winburn Way. Thursday, 9:13 a.m. — Police assisted Central Point officers with a major assault and death investigation on the Bear Creek Greenway in Central Point. Thursday, 9:18 a.m. — A theft was reported in the 1200 block of Old Willow Lane. Thursday, 10:14 a.m. — Police responded to a report of domestic harassment in the 1100 block of East Main Street. Thursday, 11:17 a.m. — Police responded to a non-injury traffic collision in the 800 block of Garden Way. Thursday, 11:52 a.m. — Property was found in the 500 block of A Street. Thursday, 11:55 a.m. — A woman reported that an unknown suspect entered her vehicle and stole her purse in the 2600 block of Takelma Way. Thursday, 12:10 p.m. — A 45-year-old man was arrested on a charge of physical harassment in the 1900 block of Crestview Drive. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail. Thursday, 12:35 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the area of Wightman and Quincy streets. Thursday, 3:45 p.m. — Police responded to a liquor law violation in the 200 block of Water Street. Thursday, 4:20 p.m. — A 21-year-old man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant on a second-degree theft charge in the area of East Main and Oak streets. Thursday, 4:42 p.m. — A fugitive was arrested in the 200 block of Maple Street. Thursday, 4:50 p.m. — A misdemeanor hit-and-run was reported in the 1300 block of Iowa Street. Thursday, 10:05 p.m. — A theft from a motor vehicle was reported in the 400 block of Lindsay Lane. Thursday, 10:35 p.m. — A 58-year-old man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and elude in the area of California and East Main streets.
