In response to the massacre at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh on Oct. 27, Rabbi David Zaslow, spiritual leader of the Havurah Synagogue, will give a talk on the history of bigotry against Jews at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at the Havurah, 185 North Mountain Ave., Ashland. Attendees will hear about the roots and causes of anti-Semitism and how to respond to it when it is encountered. The event is free and open to all. Call 541-488-7716 for more information.
