Thursday, 1:37 p.m. — A 22-year-old woman was cited and released on a charge of possession of a Schedule I controlled substance after psilocybin was found in her possession in the 100 block of Oak Street. Thursday, 1:47 p.m. — A residential burglary was reported in the 600 block of Chestnut Street. Thursday, 3:23 p.m. — Property found on Sept. 3 was surrendered to police for destruction in the 1100 block of East Main Street. Thursday, 6:19 p.m. — A 21-year-old man was arrested on two outstanding warrants along with new charges of interfering with a police officer and providing false information to an officer in the first block of West Hersey Street. He was cited on charges of scattering rubbish and open container of alcohol in public. A 48-year-old man and a 41-year-old man were also cited on a charge of open container in public. Friday, 2:30 a.m. — A 21-year-old man was arrested on two charges of disorderly conduct, harassment, interfering with an officer and resisting arrest. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail.
