--> --> Keep the U.S. away from U.N. control There are many letter writers everywhere who write about what is wrong with everything that the U.S. and international bankers are doing to despoil so many nations. I am guilty of mentioning some of the problems all over the world too. Unless a person is very naive, they agree that this administration in the U.S. is involved in a lot of illegal acts. Most Americans do want to hear about all of the above, and they are open to suggestions. One of the often mentioned suggestions is to let the United Nations handle everything and be the judge of American affairs. The U.N. has been around for a long time doing nothing except promote no-win wars and constant talk, talk, talk. On top of all this, the U.N. is composed of over 150 nations that are all biased in one way or another. Don't you think that most U.N. nations are biased racially, religiously, culturally, and of course toward their own language? This America is a young nation and is already a leader in many ways. Given more time, America will work out the seeming problems in this nation and most of the world will want to emulate the America that is to be. Don't be one of those who would hand the U.S. over to the control of the sad organization called the U.N. It is sad because the U.N. is just plain "captivated," just like almost everything else in this world. Leslie Wedekind Talent Email your...
