ASHLAND POLICE & FIRE 1:22 a.m. Saturday - Medford female, 23, stopped for traffic violation at North Main and Nursery Street showed signs of intoxication and consented to sobriety test. Arrested for DUII, refused breath test and was lodged in Jackson County Jail. 11:26 p.m. Friday - Talent female, 33, stopped for traffic violation at Ashland Street and Ray Lane showed signs of intoxication, consented to sobriety test. Arrested for DUII. 12:19 p.m. Friday - Pennsylvania male, 42, arrested for DUII at the northbound 20 mile marker on Interstate 5. Between 1 and 4 p.m. Friday - Days Creek, Ore. woman reported the theft of her backpack from her car. Value of backpack and contents: $286. Between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Friday - An unknown person entered an Ashland woman's apartment through an open back window. Drawers were opened, nothing discovered missing. Between May 18 and May 22 - Coin operated washing machine taken from the laundry room at the Pines Trailer Court. No suspects or leads. Value of machine and cash: $305. Prior to May 17 at 1 p.m. - A juvenile resident of Lithia Springs Boys Home stole $494.70 from staff office.
