Craig Allan Brandsen, 38, of the 500 block of Faith Avenue was arrested by Central Point Police on charges of manufacturing, delivery and possession of amphetamines, interfering with a police officer, failure to display an operator's license and two counts of being a felon in possession of a weapon. He was taken to the Jackson County Jail in Medford, where he was released in lieu of $40,000 bail. 12:17 p.m. Wednesday - A Medford man, 25, arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and unlawful possession of a handgun on E. Main Street at 2nd Street. 6 p.m. Tuesday - Report of a mountain bike valued at $600 stolen from a bike rack near the Greensprings dorm complex on the Southern Oregon University campus. 4:01 p.m. Tuesday - An Ashland woman, 18, was cited for giving a male juvenile, 16, a pack of cigarettes at the downtown plaza. 1:15 p.m. Tuesday - An Ashland woman, 48, arrested for shoplifting perfume valued at $29.25 from the Rite Aid on Ashland Street. 8 a.m. Tuesday - Tamme's TanFastics Tanning Center on Ashland Street reported unknown subjects broke five windows at the business valued at more than $1,000.
