"We are in the presence of an attempt to establish a kind of tyranny of opinion, and if its reign could be perpetuated, the effect might be profoundly injurious to the stability and security of this country." That being said, recollect that it was uttered by one of the most knowledgeable statesmen in history, Winston S. Churchill. In 1934. Ignore the fact that it is now 2017. M. Max McKee Ashland Emperor has no robes The newest emperor on the block has no robes. Brains, kindness, insight, vocabulary, statesmanship and intelligence are vital missing threads. All children can see him for what he is — a naked bully — but the GOP is still afraid to say they don’t see the fine robes for fear of being banished from the realm of let’s pretend. Tailor Bannon has spoken, and his emperor signs where he is told to sign — even if he doesn't know what he is signing. Now the emperor is getting petulant and snippy with national leaders, the press, the American people, and scientists, and lawyers, etc., etc. He hates being questioned because he doesn’t know the answers. So he resorts to threats. Meanwhile his know-nothing Cabinet appointments will ensure that America can never be great on any level and that health care goes the way of the dodo bird. We can only hope that members of the GOP will reclaim some integrity and love of country over bribes and power and kick this imposter and his tailor out, PDQ. He needs to go before our entire country is sold off to the billionaire with the highest bid; before he kills us all with his ignorance and belligerence. Lee Lull Talent
