ORIGINAL STORY: Fourteen-year old Annessa Moriarty of Ashland has been missing since 1 a.m. Sunday morning, Ashland police have announced. She was last seen on a grey mountain bike with pink trim and was carrying an olive green backpack. The girl left home sometime between 1 and 6:15 a.m., according to a Facebook post by her mother, Sabena, after a young, male friend of the girl was found nearby by police responding to a call about someone lurking around the house. He was cited for trespassing and taken home, according to post. Annessa left a note expressing regret for leaving late at night with the boy on prior occasions and his encounter with the police and said that is what led to her departure. She has brown, shoulder-length hair, green eyes, and is 5-foot, 4-inches tall. Anyone with information about Annessa's location is asked to call police dispatch at 541-776-7206.
