ASHLAND POLICE & FIRE 4:34 p.m. Wednesday - Motor vehicle crash, Ashland Loop and Glenview Drive, cited a Medford male for careless driving after he turned left from Ashland Loop onto Glenview Drive at a high rate of speed tipping his vehicle onto the passenger side. 7:30 p.m. Wednesday - Drinking in public, 2200 block of Ashland Street, adult male cited for drinking alcohol in public. 9:28 p.m. Wednesday - Possession, Ashland and Clay streets, female transient cited and released for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. 1:46 a.m. Thursday - DUII, Cambridge and Kent streets, female stopped for traffic violation, cited and released for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Thursday - Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempted criminal mischief, attempted theft and possession, 500 block of Lit Way, an adult male was lodged in the Jackson County Jail after police saw him unlawfully enter two vehicles.
