--> --> Dorothy Marie Ziemer Funeral services for Dorothy Marie Ziemer will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001 at Memory Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 1395 Arnold Lane in Medford. Ziemer died at her residence in Ashland Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001 at the age of 85, after living in the Rogue Valley for 26 years. Her Husband John Ziemer preceded her in death in 1996. Ziemer was born Dorothy Curler in Lake Hubert, Minn. She married John Ziemer in 1945. She lived in Phoenix for 20 years before moving to Ashland. She and her husband lived overseas for many years while John Ziemer worked in construction. She was an artist who enjoyed painting and creating black-and-white sketches. Ziemer was also a member of the Garden Club in Talent. Ziemer is survived by sister Marian Cleveland of Arkansas. Minister Stan Johnson of West Main Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park. Email your...
