Vidovic also will perform two solo pieces: Federico Moreno Torroba’s "Sonatina" and Francisco Tarrega’s "Recuerdos de la Alhambra." Manuel de Falla's Suites 1 and 2 from "The Three-Cornered Hat," Georges Bizet's "Les Toreadors" from his opera "Carmen" and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s "Capriccio Espagnol" also will be featured on the symphony's program. Shows are set for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, in the Music Recital Hall on the Southern Oregon University campus, 405 S. Mountain Ave., Ashland; 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, in the Craterian Theater, 23 S. Central Ave, Medford; and 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, in the Performing Arts Center, 830 N.E. Ninth St., Grants Pass. Tickets are $36, $42, $48 or $55 for the Ashland show; $31, $36, $42 or $48 for the Medford show; and $22, $30 or $37 for the Grants Pass show. Tickets are 50 percent off for students at all shows. A limited number of $15 tickets are available for the Medford and Grants Pass shows, and $5 tickets will be available for Oregon Trail Card holders at the Grants Pass show. Southern Oregon Repertory Singers The choir, directed by Paul French, will present "Beyond the Stars," a program of music inspired by images of starlight. The program will feature music by composers Daniel Elder, Eriks Esenvalds, Will Todd and Ola Gjeilo, along with a new arrangement of "When You Wish Upon a Star" by Jodi French. Concerts are set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, in the Music Recital Hall on the Southern Oregon University campus, 405 S. Mountain Ave., Ashland. Tickets are $26 and $32; $5 for students and SNAPCARD holders. Advance tickets are available online at repsingers.org or by calling 541-552-0900. Generation Jones Father and son duo Jeff and Julian Jones will play guitar and fiddle, respectively, to present a range of traditional Scottish and Irish songs, along with some arrangements of classic rock and original compositions, at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, at Belle Fiore Winery, 100 Belle Fiore Lane (off Dead Indian Memorial Road), Ashland. Ani DiFranco, with Rupa and the April Fishes Singer, songwriter and activist Ani DiFranco will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, at the Historic Rogue Theatre, 143 S.E. H St., Grants Pass. Her newest album, "Allergic to Water," was released in 2014 on her independent Righteous Babe label. Rupa and the April Fishes will open the show. Tickets are $32 for general seating. Opera The opera company will present classical composer Christoph Willibald Gluck's timeless love story "Orpheus and Eurydice" at 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, March 3-4, and 3 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at Camelot Theatre, 101 Talent Ave., Talent. Willene Gunn will direct, and maestro Martin Majkut will conduct this fully staged baroque opera to be performed in English. The cast and orchestra will feature professional singers and musicians. Tickets are $30, $15 for students, and can be purchased at the theater's box office, online at camelottheatre.org or by calling 541-535-5250.
