Bikepath box up and running 5

--> --> Bikepath box up and running After our daughter Lacey died almost three years ago, we installed a mailbox next to our gate on the Bear Creek pathway inviting walkers and bikers to write their thoughts in its enclosed journal. Since then we have been constantly amazed by the response; little children scrawl their names and draw pictures, moms and dads express love of family, people write poetry. We are also amazed at the goodness of people when the mailbox is vandalized (as happens a couple of times a year). When it was bashed in the first time, we tacked a note to the post expressing dismay. Well-wishers encouraged us, writing back "Please don't stop. This means so much to us!" Well, the box was smashed and the journal torn up again last week. Once more, people have written best wishes, and someone even tucked a donation of money under the paper for a new box! We have conscious choices we can make in this world: We can smile or frown, spread love or hate. Thanks to all who smile and spread some love as they stop by the "Bikepath" Mailbox. We'll have a new one up an running in a few days. Jerry and Judie Bunch Talent Email your...
