Admission is free. Call 541-552-4900 or see www.bellefiorewine.com.   FRI Fiesta Latina: Celebrate the music, dance and food of Latin culture with a gourmet meal prepared by Lark's, a dance performance and live music by local band Salsa Brava at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at the Historic Ashland Armory, 208 Oak St. Look for flamenco guitarist Steve Berman, dancers Jennifer Berry and Abraham Hernandez, and a Latin dance set by DJ Genevieve. Tickets cost $55 for the dinner and show, $75 for a VIP pass, and doors open at 7 p.m. General admission costs $25 and is available at 9 p.m. The event will feature a full bar and is closed to ages 20 and younger.   SAT Dancing People Company: The modern dance troupe will present its annual winter solstice show, “Call Back the Sun,” at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 20-21, at the Historic Ashland Armory, 208 Oak St. The troupe will be joined by various musicians, aerialists and dancers, including Darcy Danielson, Uphonic Sound System, Cornflower, the Curtain Climbers, a dance performance group from Southern Oregon University, Vanessa Nowitsky, West African Dancers and Robin Bryant's HeartDance. Evening shows will be followed by open community dances with live music by a band made up of musicians from the show. Tickets cost $10 for the 2 p.m. Saturday preview; $15 for the 2 p.m. Sunday show ($10 for age 11 and younger). Saturday and Sunday evening shows cost $17, $10 for age 11 and younger. Call 541-488-9683 or email [email protected] for information.   SAT Bad Film Society: Celebrate Bad Film Society's kooky Winter Solstice Santa Extravaganza at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, in the basement of the Ashland Elks building. Use the entrance on Will Dodge Way, the alley between East Main Street and Lithia Way and First and Second streets, Ashland. The feature will be a schlocky 1964 holiday staple, "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians." Filled with bad acting, props and sets, Martians kidnap Santa and force him to make toys. Will Santa make it back to Earth and his elves in time for Christmas? Two dark and hilarious Finnish short films about domesticating feral Santas also will be shown. Bring a potluck dish to share and a wrapped, totally bad present for a gift exchange. Admission is a donation of $4 to benefit the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. See www.badfilmsociety.org.
