Phillips Field. The loss drops Fuego to 9-4-3 heading into its final action of the summer, the State of Jefferson Cup, Aug. 6-7 in Grants Pass. “It was disappointing for us,” Fuego midfielder Iman Siadat said. “We controlled and had possession of the ball but once again we were unable to capitalize or finish on our opportunities. We hit the post several times and were unable to convert.” Siadat was impressed with the All-Stars defense, but gave most of the credit to La Liga Del Valle goalkeeper Thomas Iboa, who had several spectacular saves. On one, Iboa snared Siadat’s right-foot boot through traffic.
