Police noticed the man sleeping in a vacant lot on Ashland Street. When officers approached him, he grabbed his nearby guitar and ran away. Police "physically stopped him and assisted him in sitting down," according to a filed report. Aug. 1 - Sept. 5 — The owner of the Minute Market at 1690 Siskiyou Boulevard reported two employees had stolen more than $4,000 from the store. By voiding sales, the two former employees would take the money handed to them. Police arrested the two former employees Thursday. They were lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
