--> --> Oct. 30: Prep poll: Jesuit, Pleasant Hill stay No. 1 By The Associated Press Jesuit and Pleasant Hill, each 8-0, retained their spots in the Class 4A and 3A Oregon high school football polls. The Crusaders, who received 10 first-place votes, were idle last week but finish the season this Friday at Aloha. Roseburg was No. 2 in the 4A ranks, getting the other five top votes after beating Klamath 44-0 last Friday. South Salem was third, followed by Tualatin and Sheldon. All are unbeaten. Pleasant Hill received 10 first-place votes to hang onto the top spot in 3A. The Billies defeated Cottage Grove 47-13. Scappoose was second, followed by Sherwood, North Valley and Junction City, which rose from No. 8 after defeating sixth-ranked Marist 25-20. Marist dropped into a four-way tie for seventh.
