Hersey St. #10, Ashland. The cost is $12. No previous dance experience is necessary. Participants will experience fun, simple moves as well as free-form dance done to eclectic world beat music. Call 541-488-1192 or see www.nianow.com.   FRI Ashland Festival of Light Parade and Grand Illumination: The 22nd annual Festival of Light will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, with live entertainment on the Ashland Plaza. Santa's Parade and the city's Grand Illumination ceremony will start at 5 p.m. From 6:45 to 8 p.m., children can share wishes with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Black Swan Theatre, corner of Pioneer and East Main streets.   FRI Holiday Magic Show: Magical Michael will delight children of all ages during a Holiday Open House from noon to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at the Northwest Nature Shop, 154 Oak St., Ashland. There will be magic shows at 1:30 and 3 p.m. The open house also features Platt Anderson Cellars wine tasting, Rogue Creamery cheese tasting, Cary's of Oregon sweets tasting and free face painting. Creekside Strings fiddlers and blues/folk guitarist Andrew Miller will provide musical entertainment. All activities are free. Main St., Ashland. Both screenings benefit the nonprofit film festival.
