Far off memories of a former Ashland son My mother and dad lived in Ashland for many years. They came to Ashland in 1951 after he retired from Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. They both loved Ashland. I visited them many times after they moved there, and formed a deep love for Ashland. My dad passed away in 1977, and my mom now lives in Medford. Ashland is a beautiful little town. Among those places that I remember best is Lithia Park. I have not been back to Ashland for several years, but have fond memories of a beautiful town and many nice people there. I enjoy reading the Tidings on the Internet, and read it everyday; thanks for all the interesting articles about Ashland. Michael B.
