Play Like A Girl Night: In honor and celebration of women and girls in sports, Southern Oregon University is hosting "Play Like a Girl" night during the SOU Raiders women's basketball home game against Eastern Oregon University at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13. Women and girls 18 and younger get in free and fans can meet the SOU team after the game. The event is part of the #playlikeagirl online campaign, which seeks to dispel the notion that playing like a girl is an insult. The game will also feature a ceremony honoring the SOU women's cross county and volleyball teams, which advanced to National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics championships last fall. The film by retired pediatric physical therapist Datherine Roselli of Ashland looks at the aging process through the eyes of 70 Rogue Valley residents — from children to a centenarian.
