--> --> John Raymond Bobbett John Raymond Bobbett, 78, of Medford died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2001 at Providence Medford Medical Center. Private family services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be held at the Woodville Cemetery in Rogue River. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Oregon Chapter, 117 S.W. Taylor, Portland, Ore. 97201. Mr. Bobbett was born Sept. 26, 1923 in Seattle, Wash., to Cecil and Marie Bobbett. On Nov. 24, 1967 in Medford, he married the former Norma Cardin Mullins, who preceded him in death. Mr. Bobbett moved to the Rogue Valley in 1927 from the state of Washington. He worked as a dryer feeder for the Medco Corporation for 25 years. He was a member of the Eagle Lodge 2093 for 42 years. He was a loving husband, step-father and grandfather. Survivors include two step-daughters, Joyce Deckelman of Milwaukie, Ore., and Pauline Hatfield of Kent, Wash.; two brothers, Jim Bobbett of New Mexico and Robert Bobbett of Spokane, Wash.; three sisters, Dolly Wood of Medford, Helen Betz of Talent, and Betty Read of Sam Valley; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Norma Bobbett, a brother Donald Bobbett, and a sister Ethel Madden. Arrangements were handled by Abbey Funeral, Inc. in Medford. Email your...
