--> --> We are all one, brother and sister alike We are pitched deep in the middle of a mythic battle of good versus evil. Our leaders remind us again and again that "either you are with us, or you are against us." Black and white. Simple. Unfortunately, the oversimplification of war, the philosophy of an eye for an eye, will perpetuate the endless cycle of violence that humanity has been mired in for countless generations. The only way out of this vicious cycle is to end the violence. To end the racism, classism, and sexism that divides us. We are all one people. Brothers and sisters. Mothers and fathers. We share this beautiful planet with each other, and all the wonders of creation. Yet our unwillingness to see each other as we are, one family, creates the suffering and isolation that grips us all. Look closely at the unfolding of our times. Look deep within, to the root of the fear that keeps us prisoners of our own suffering. Do not blindly follow the rhetoric of our leaders. Do not wave a flag of ignorance and fear. Spread a message of brotherhood, of sisterhood. Spread a message of love, of peace. War is not the answer. Hate is not the answer.
