Book Sale: The Friends of the Ashland Public Library are hosting a Midsummer Clearance Book Sale June 11-12, in the Gresham Room of the Ashland library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd. The kickoff to the event will be the Friends of the Library members only sale from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 11, then open to everyone from noon to 5 p.m., and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 12. The sale will consist of nearly 100 cartons of books. The books will be priced at $1 for trade paper and hardcover fiction and $2 for hardcover non-fiction and oversized softcover; some items specially priced.
