That’s right, the Oregon civil war has ended and the Ducks have won over the Beavers in a 31-7 win. Everyone had been watching the field with bated breath, and in the end, it was the Ducks who had destroyed the Beavers in their own game. With this win, the Ducks have won their ticket to Vegas and are now on their way to fight for the championship. Before we get into that, however, let’s get into some details about the game. The first half was actually looking pretty good for the Beavers. Oregon State started out scoring from nine yards out with just under a minute left in the first half. That left the Ducks with a lead of 14-7; yes, that’s more than double the points, but with such low numbers, it was seriously anyone’s game. The Beavers were gaining momentum and were poised to receive the ball in the second half. Bo Nix then threw across the field on the run to Troy Franklin, who went in for a 41 yard touchdown and brung the Ducks up to a 21-7 lead. We would not be surprised if this moment was featured as Bo Nic receives his Heisman. Many moments in this game were astounding to watch as Oregon suffocated the Beavers, not allowing them even a moment to slip through and get that score up in the second half. All the while, the Ducks scored some major points, allowing them to end at a fantastic 31-7. In the end, it was an easy win, and an absolute treat for Duck fans. So, what’s next? It’s what the country’s been waiting for. The Ducks are heading to Las Vegas to face off against the Washington Huskies, the only team that has defeated our Ducks this season. That’s right, it’s a rematch and an opportunity for the Ducks to not only avenge themselves, but also snag that Pac-12 championship.
