Ashland Police & Fire 11:34 p.m. Monday - Officers responded to a burglary in progress, 1500 block Siskiyou Boulevard. Suspect was located at Siskiyou Boulevard and Mary Jane Avenue, arrested and lodged in Jackson County Jail. Value of stolen property: mountain bike, $300; cordless phone system, $50. 8:43 p.m. Monday - Transient male, 33, arrested and lodged in Jackson County Jail for menacing after pulling a knife on two people and asking them if it was time to die, 500 block Siskiyou Boulevard. 7 p.m. Monday - Ashland male, 29, cited for riding a bicycle on the sidewalk in the downtown area, East Main and Third Street. 4:05 p.m. Monday - Female, 19, arrested for shoplifting merchandise valued at $16.50, 30 block North Main. 10 a.m. Monday - Male presented an altered prescription for 10 extra Oxycontin tablets at pharmacy, 2200 block Ashland Street.
