A celebration of Bob Marley's life Reggae returns to the Historic Ashland Armory with a show celebrating Bob Marley's birthday. Marley, who lived from 1945 to 1981, was a talented singer-songwriter and an electrifying performer, who chanced the musical landscape, spreading the gospel of Rastafarianism with songs of freedom, urging people to fight oppression and come together in peace and harmony. For the celebration the The Wailers, including original band members, Familyman Barrett, Al Anderson, Tyrone Downie, Earl "Wya" Lindo and Everton Gayle have come together to play a concert beginning at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 13 at The Historic Ashland Armory at 208 Oak Street. All ages are welcome. Opening for the Wailers is Topaz, New York City's homegrown soul-trance experience.
