Ruth L. Prince Ruth L. Prince, 87, of Medford, died Friday, April 18, 2003. A private memorial service will be held. Memorial contributions can be made to Jackson County Library. Ruth Lucie Prince was born May 12, 1915 in Los Angeles, Calif., daughter of Richard and Lucie Buchanan. She lived in the Rogue Valley since 1948. On Aug. 19, 1938, Ruth married Walter H. Prince, he passed away in 1978. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and taking walks. Survivors include daughters, Carol Murphy of Creswell, Ore. and Linda Humpage of Portland, Ore.; son, Walter (Bud) Prince of Medford; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Arrangements are under the direction of Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home and Crematory, Ashland.
