An officer arrived and discovered a vehicle running with both doors open and observed two subjects fleeing to a nearby residence. The driver, a Medford woman, 25, admitted to leaving the car running and showed signs of alcoholic intoxication. She was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. 2:13 a.m. Wednesday - An officer attempted to pull over a Chevrolet truck for a traffic violation on Oak Street at Hersey Street. The male driver tried to flee the scene. He pulled into a driveway on Oak Street and ran into the residence, where he was arrested. A butterfly knife was found concealed in his pocket. He took a breath test and was found to be over the legal limit. It was also discovered he was driving on a suspended license. He was taken to the Jackson County Jail in Medford. 9:14 p.m. Tuesday - An Ashland woman was cited for possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a gun on the 700 block of Normal Street. 7:58 p.m. Tuesday - A Medford man, 42, was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol on Ashland Street at Washington Street. 4:02 p.m. Tuesday - A Medford woman, 54, was arrested for theft for stealing several items from the Market of Choice on Siskiyou Boulevard. 3:05 p.m. Tuesday - Jackson County Fire District No. 5 received a report of a stalled car in the medium of the northbound lane of Interstate 5 at milepost 23. Before the car could be removed, a vehicle did not stop in time and struck the vehicle, causing a three-vehicle fender bender. No injuries were reported, but one lane of traffic was blocked for nearly 45 minutes. 5:50 a.m. Tuesday - Unknown subjects entered a window at Wiley's Pasta Company on the 1600 block of Ashland Street. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. 7:18 a.m. Monday - A woman walking her dog on Glenview Drive reported her dog started to bark at a bicyclist. The man stopped his bicycle and yelled at the woman to get her dog away from him. The woman said he started to throw his sandals and a rock in her direction.
