--> --> Backstreet Boys confirm Portland concert date Popular boy band The Backstreet Boys announced Monday that they will postpone a series of concert dates ending with their Aug. 7 performance in Vancouver, B.C., due to the poor health of member A.J. McLean. McLean is currently undergoing a 30-day treatment for clinical depression, which has lead to anxiety attacks and the excessive consumption of alcohol. A key cause of the depression is believed to be the recent death of McLean's grandmother. East Coast concerts will be rescheduled for September, starting with a East Rutherford, New Jersey concert Friday, Sept. 7, and ending with an Edmonton, Ontario concert Friday, Sept. 28. The Backstreet Boys concert in Portland has not been postponed; it will be held Friday, Aug. 10, in the Rose Garden. Email your...
