Two finalists in the principal or central office administrator category and two finalists in the superintendent category were chosen by a panel of distinguished leaders in education. Zundel and the other three finalists will be interviewed at the AASA National Conference on Education in San Diego, Calif., Feb. 26-28. At that time, two award recipients will be selected and honored. The program is designed to recognize the exceptional leadership of active, front-line female administrators who are making a difference in the lives of students every day. AASA pays tribute to the talent, creativity and vision of outstanding women educational administrators in the nation's public schools. Each candidate is judged on leadership for learning, communication, professionalism and community involvement. Zundel earned her bachelor of arts from Brown University and a masters degree from Harvard University. She has served as an administrator in the Ashland School District for 20 years.   By Local report DailyTidings.com By Local report Posted Feb. 17, 2015 @ 12:25 pm » Comment or view comments /* $( document ).ready(function() { // Jquery mobile is trying to style the button and leaving a blank gry button on top of a white button $("#viafouracoms .vf-comment-controls li.vf-right").html(' Submit '); });*/ » STAY INFORMED Email NewsLetter Sign Up Today Sign up for our newsletter and have the top headlines from your community delivered right to your inbox. calendar Connect with DailyTidings.com Facebook Twitter RSS Back to top Reader Services Reader Services home Subscriptions Subscriber controls Contact us Submissions Photos Events Letters to the editor Corrections Alerts Email alerts RSS feeds Text Alerts Advertise Media Kit Home Products and services Ad rates Advertising contacts Mail Tribune Daily Tidings The Nickel Shop Our Valley Blogs Stay Informed Email newsletter Sign Up Today Sign up for our newsletter and have the top headlines from your community delivered right to your inbox.
