--> --> UPS driver won't be prosecuted EUGENE (AP) - A UPS driver will not be prosecuted for criminal negligence in the death of a 6-year-old girl who was run over by a delivery truck, the Lane County District Attorney's Office said Friday. The office found driver Brett Jones had failed to look carefully before moving his truck after a delivery, but that the oversight was not criminal in the death of Kennedy Marie Lyons. Jones had backed the truck into Lyon's driveway to deliver a package to a nearby house around 3 p.m. on May 17. While he was away, the girl moved in front of the truck and Jones did not notice her as he started pulling away, the District Attorney's office said. Email your...
