Portland Police Investigate Mysterious Death of Person Found Near Interstate 5 Grassland News By Diane Megaw On Apr 28, 2025 PORTLAND, Ore. — Responding to a report of a body lying near the intersection of Flint Avenue and North Tillamook Street, on a grassy area next to Interstate 5, yesterday morning at 7:04, Portland Police Bureau (PPB) officers from the North Precinct found a deceased person. PPB detectives are investigating the case. The Medical Examiner (ME) has not yet released details of the cause of death, and the identity of the victim will only be released after the ME report is available and after family members have been notified. PPB will release information when appropriate but asked members of the public to assist with any information they may have about this incident.
