The suspect in the theft is currently being sought by police. Thursday 3:35 p.m. - Police stopped a car at the 700 block of Park Street. During the stop, the female driver gave the officer false information and she was arrested. The passenger, a male, was also arrested for being in possession of marijuana and for theft by receiving. He was cited and released while the female driver was booked into the Jackson County Jail. Wednesday 10:09 p.m. - An unidentified person entered the Shop 'N' Kart on Ashland Street and stole a leather jacket from the manager's office.
