ASHLAND POLICE & FIRE 2:40 a.m. Friday - DUII, East Main and Lincoln streets, cited and released to a sober adult. 12:30 p.m. Thursday - Unknown woman attempted to pay for drinks with a forged $150 check at bar, 2300 block Ashland Street, left the scene before police arrived. 9:15 a.m. Thursday - Male juvenile cited for possession of marijuana at a school for having what police believed to be a marijuana pipe at Ashland Middle School. Thursday - Unknown person entered a vacant residence, 2800 block Wedgewood Lane, knocked holes in the walls and turned on water faucets, $10,000 damage. JACKSON COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT NO. 5 10:23 p.m. Thursday - Car driven into tree, 7000 block Griffin Creek Road, minor injuries.
