Friday, 7:39 a.m. — Police took a male into protective custody on a mental health hold and transported him to the Psychiatric Care Unit at Rogue Regional Medical Center. Friday, 11:21 a.m. — Police arrested a man for third-degree theft in the first block of North Main Street. Friday, 12:34 a.m. — Police arrested and lodged a man for fourth-degree assault and physical harassment in the Ashland area. Friday, 7:48 p.m. — Police responded to a call of hit and run in which an unknown vehicle hit a parked vehicle on Iowa Street near South Mountain Avenue and caused damage to the driver's side mirror and quarter panel. Friday, 8:36 p.m. — Police took a report of a bike being stolen out of a vehicle in the first block of Alida Street. Saturday, 5:56 a.m. — Police arrested a woman for second-degree disorderly conduct, fourth-degree harassment and assault in the first block of Winburn Way.
