Oregon Doctor Accused of Exploiting Patients in Felony Indictment Crime & Courts By Lucille McNamara On Oct 11, 2025 Oregon medical practitioner, Dr. David Farley of West Linn, has been indicted by a grand jury on 11 felony charges involving three of his patients. His appearance in the Clackamas County Courthouse yesterday followed an investigation by Department of Justice criminal investigators and prosecutors who received a request from the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office in December 2024. The DOJ investigating team conducted a comprehensive review of the evidence and pursued new leads before presenting the case to a grand jury on October 2 and 3.   The Survivors Displayed Remarkable Courage, Says Oregon AG In a press statement, Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield says survivors and the families displayed ‘remarkable courage’ throughout the process. Rayfield says that anyone in a position of authority who abuses that position to harm others deserves to be investigated, adding that the DOJ owes it to survivors to ‘follow the facts wherever they lead’ to ensure that no one is above the law. Clackamas County District Attorney John Wentworth described the allegations made by Farley’s former patients as ‘deeply troubling’ and warranted a closer review.
