New Millennium Jelly Rollers: The old-time and country blues duo — Ashland native Elias Alexander on fiddle, harmonica, guitar and pipes and Max Godfrey on fiddle, guitar and banjo — will perform foot-stompin' music at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 29, in the Butler Band Shell in Ashland's Lithia Park. Alexander is now based in Boston. Godfrey is from Atlanta. The two play wild fiddle tunes, sing low-down blues and play everything from Appalachian mountain ballads to raucus rags. Ashland International Folk Dancers: The group meets every Friday at the Ashland Community Center, 59 Winburn Way, for dances from Eastern and Western Europe, Greece, Scandinavia, Israel, Turkey and the Middle East.
