The Oregon Center for the Arts Young Artists Institute is a one-week summer residential program held in Ashland at the SOU campus. Students receive first-class instruction by professional artists in creative writing and/or fine arts through intensive hands-on workshops, mentoring, evaluation and presentation of completed works. The program will be held July 26 through Aug. 2. Students who have completed ninth grade and have not graduated as of June of 2015 are eligible. Director applications must be received by Dec. 15.
