She was born September 2, 1928 in Verwood, Saskatchewan, Canada to Theodore and Ina Wenaus. She married Carl Surber January 14, 1948 in Ashland, Ore. Mrs. Surber enjoyed all kinds of needlework, sewing, canning, and winning at cribbage. She is survived by her husband, Carl; her three children, Ron, Les, and Chelly; her eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A graveside service officiated by Pastor Jim Cartwright will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Scenic Hills Memorial Park on East Hills Drive, Ashland, Ore.
